FURNITURE LIFTERS

I often get asked questions about whether I'm able to stage homes or redesign homes all by myself or whether I have to have an assistant to help me. I'm here to tell you that I have done my projects all by myself many, many times for many, many years. Now that I'm older, I have an assistant, but it is not mandatory that you have one at all. In my books I teach you how I did that, so I won't go into here. But I'm bringing in another tool to help you, whether you have an assistant or not.

It's a furniture lifter and I love mine. I would never go on an appointment without it. You just slide it under one leg of a heavy piece of furniture, push down on the steel bar with your foot, and slide one of the furniture sliders under the leg of the furniture. Then you put the lifter under another leg, and repeat the process until you have your sliders under all four legs. Then you just easily push the furniture where you want it to go. So simple. I'm over sixty years ago and I can still move a very heavy armoire or entertainment center all by myself. And so can you. It is worthless, however, unless you have at least one set of sliders to put under the furniture.
